Fishing for both trout and perch has been good through the ice at Wildhorse Reservoir. It has six to eight inches of good ice and anglers report success for fish in a variety of locations around the lake. Perch have been caught in the middle of the Hendricks Arm in about 25 feet of water, off of the state park boat ramp, around the submerged island off the the state park, and at the south end. Trout are being by fishing halfway down the water column in six to 12 feet of water. We have ice fishing supplies for both trout and perch at the Elko Fly Shop.
