The numbers are not there yet but there have been some really big fish caught! Just about everyday there is a report of a 10 to 15 pound fish being caught on a fly rod. The fish have been moving in and out, water temperatures have not risen enough to keep the fish in the shallows. There are some cruisers but they come and go. Warmer weather should break things wide open any day. Early morning and late afternoon when the sun is off the water has been the best time. Stripping black beatles and tadpoles as well as dragon fly nymphs has been working well. Nymphs fished under an indicator is also catching fish. Try maholo midges and maholo nymphs in red or black. There has been several beaches having good reports. Seperator, the marina and sandhole have all been mentioned. Pyramid lake weather
