The fishing here has been very dependable, weather permitting. There have been large numbers of trout close to shore in the south end of the lake. Fishing copper johns or blood midges on a floating or intermediate line works well in or around the shallows as does a snail imitation, sheep creek special or leech pattern. The CDF&G will continue to increase the population through stocking this year. Fishing should only get better.

Pyramid LakeThe fishing this past week was better than previous weeks. Several days produced good numbers and there are some very big fish being caught. Sinking lines with wooly worms, beetles and dragonflies as well as fishing nymphs under an indicator are catching fish.
