Flows on the Little Truckee have been holding steady at 78cfs so the water is in good shape. Nymph fishing continues to be the way to go. Small baetis, midge pupa, HBI and PMD nymphs are all working. Get your flies close to the bottom and drifting drag free.

The warm weather has pushed water temperatures into the 50's and consequently the spawning fish are in the shallow water as well. Reports this week were much improved. The fish are not in Pelican Bay as in the past two years. Anglers fishing remote beaches are having the best reports. Try 9 mile beach, Sandhole, Popcorn and Monument.
