Stripers have been biting on various cut baits and lug worms mainly over the past couple of weeks along the canal by the entrance booth the points past the swim beach area and off points throughout the lake using a heavier sinker and longer leader for current conditions. Bass have been biting well on steeper walls and points on soft plastics and deeper diving crank baits or jerk baits in the early hours of the day. Senkos and roboworms have been working out well throughout the day down deep in rock structures in coved and also from the canal along the entrance throughout the day. With all of the colder weather, slower presentations and trolling have been overall most successful for bass and stripers.
