Today, marked day 92 in a row fishing the Klamath River. It has been quite a run of fabulous fishing that started way back in early October. I want to wish you all a happy New Year, and Thank everyone who have fished with me and made my days on the Klamath, as we knew it, Special!

I have 3 more trips, which will make 95 days I row. This coming Thursday January 11, is suppose to begin the process that will forever change my beloved Klamath River, so I am not sure if I will be able to fish her anytime soon again. I am planning on to being on or near the River on Thursday, to see what happens. I will keep you all updated as to what occurs.

Fishing has been steady to great, and today was one of those great days 20 fish days. I pulled out an old method from 10 years ago and it really paid off, the last 2 days. Pays to never get rid of old lures an methods. Enjoy the the pictures from the past 17 days.

I will be headed to Sacramento for the annual ISE Sportsman Expo at the Cal Expo (Jan 18 - 21). I should be in my same booth from last year, but either way, I will be there for the 18th year in row.

I am booking trips in 2024 for Lake Siskiyou, Lake Shasta, McCloud Reservoir and Whiskeytown, like I have in the past.  I will still book for Klamath River this year but we will just have wait an see how everything plays out. I will more than likely begin fishing the Sacramento River out Redding, as well as Trinity an Lewiston lakes.
