Water tempeartures will be approaching freezing. Closed to angling for salmon. Open year-round. Fishing should be slow for Brook Trout up high near Lee Thomas Crossing. You will encounter snow and access might not be possible. Fishing near Sandhill crossing is likely slow. Best Redband Trout fishing is upstream of the lowermost 3411 road bridge. Large brown trout occur in the river. Best Brown Trout fishing is downstream of Boulder Creek to the private property boundary below the 3411 road bridge

Detroit Reservoir: Refilling the reservoir for the summer will begin on Feb. 1
Santiam River ( North Fork) : The river is currently running at around 2,900 cfs at the gage in Mahama
Santiam River ( North Fork) Above Detroit Lake: Currently, flows are over 750 cfs
Santiam River (South Fork): Flows are currently at around 2,050 cfs at the gage in Waterloo
Campbell Reservoir: The reservoir is likely freezing
Fourmile Lake: Access could be blocked by snow
Gerber Reservoir: The reservoir should be freezing
Upper Klamath Lake: The lake is starting to freeze in some locations especially Shoalwater and Howard Bay

Link River : Redband Trout are in the river in very low numbers
Lost River: Water quality is fair
Miller Lake: Access is unknown. You might encounter too much snow
