The bass bite has been improving each day. Chatterbaits have been producing quality bites when there is a little wind, while finesse baits have been more effective when conditions calm down. During the early morning and evening hours, anglers have been catching bass on spinnerbaits. Crappie action has been showing better signs later in the day, with anglers finding success using live shiners and crappie jigs. Trout anglers have also been catching fish on jigs and floating scented baits. There is another scheduled trout plant at Ming Lake next week.
