As of this weekend, the Caples Lake Resort will have all their rental boats in the water and the boat ramp will be open. The EID public launch ramp is scheduled to be open as well.

I personally like to troll deep with Rapalas for the bigger mackinaws and rainbows. Flashers and a threaded nightcrawler has always been productive.

Shore anglers, best areas have been by the spillway or by Woods Creek using spinners, inflated night crawlers or salmon eggs on the bottom.
