Saturday Offshore Update
- The Polaris Supreme checked in from their 3 Day with 52 Bluefin Tuna up to 120lbs along 35 Yellowtail up to 30lbs. Check back for a final report! They have availability on an upcoming 4 day departing on 6/28.
- The Tribute finished up their reverse 1.5 day with 11 Yellowtail.
- The Pacific Voyager got back to the dock this evening from their 2 day charter with 16 Yellowtail, 2 Bluefin Tuna, 10 Bonito, 200 Rockfish and 80 Vermilion Rockfish.
Saturday San Diego Full Day
- The San Diego wrapped up today's Full Day Coronado Islands trip with a nice catch of 19 Yellowtail, 10 Rockfish, 8 Barracuda and 10 Calico bass. Flylined baits have been producing well, but anglers should also come prepared with gear for yo-yo iron and dropper loop fishing, as both techniques have been effective. Surface iron enthusiasts have also had opportunities to get in on the action.
Sea Watch 3/4 Day Saturday
- The Sea Watch continues the local Calico Bass action and had a nice shot at the Yellows today. The finished up their 3/4 day today with 14 Yellowtail, 22 Calico Bass, 7 Rockfish, 9 Sheephead, 4 Sculpin, 2 Barracuda, 1 Bonita, and 1 Sand Bass. Recent trips have produced a fun mix of Calico Bass, Barracuda, and Bonito, with several solid opportunities to connect with Yellowtail and White Seabass as well. For the best results, bring a 20–30 lb live bait setup and a selection of plastics for the Calico Bass bite. Don't miss out—check the schedule and book your trip today!
New Seaforth 1/2 Day Saturday
- The New Seaforth AM 1/2 day had decent Calico Bass fishing this morning along with 1 Yellowtail and an assortment of bottom fish. Captain Brian recomends a 20–30 lb live bait setup along with a selection of surface baits for targeting the Yellowtail. Be sure to make your reservations early, as trips can fill up quickly. Rod rentals and fishing licenses are available at check-in for your convenience.
Friday Evening Twilight
- The New Seaforth's Twilight trip finished with 10 Calico Bass (100 released), 3 Sand Bass,17 Rockfish, and 7 Sculpin.
