Fishing conditions: Good

Report: Waaaay back in the Pit and McCloud arm bays you can find spotted bass chasing shad balls already. Float n' Fly will definitely work in these areas, you can also throw minnow patterns like the Baby Fat Minnow, small Clousers, Beaded Micro Buggers in Grey and White. Fishing deeper with crayfish patterns likewise can be a good tactic. Look for fish to begin pushing schools of shad up into the shallows and be ready with an intermediate line and a shad pattern. October will be a good time to fish the lake!
