CDFW recently planted the river with pan-sized rainbows, and Alpine County Fish & Game planted some nice rainbows as well. Mike Dirks caught a nice 3.5-pound rainbow this week. Fishing has been doing well for both fly anglers, using a Copper John—my favorite—or spin casters using Panther Martin spinners.
