Water Conditions:
Flows are still raging at 397 cfs as of 6/3. Wading not recommended. Watch out for crumbling bank.

Fishing Conditions and Hatches:
Fair to poor, midges in the morning, Caddis/PMD's in the afternoon. Tougher fishing, but keep moving for those 14" to 20" fish.
Try to find area's of slower moving water, and stay subsurface until the flows subside.

Gray/black Optimidge #18, #20 Flashy Black WD40, #16 #18 Brassie, #16 Red Copper Johns, #16 PT's and Flashback Hare's Ear's, #18 Tungsten Psycho

DRIES:
#16-#18 BWO Comparaduns and #16 Parachute Adams, Kauffmans Stimis, #18 Hatch Matcher PMD , Extended Body BWO, EC Caddis

Guides Hint:
Try down towards Big Pine as the river is wider with no banks.

Crowley Lake: The fish are deep at Lake Crowley
Owens River: No runoff yet has kept the flows on the Upper Owens slower than usual. Fishing is fair to good
Owens River: Fly fishing is excellent at the Owens River Gorge

Owens River: On the Upper Owens you have to get the fly down to where the fish are
Owens River: The Owens River Gorge has been the best for Fly Fishing recently
Owens River: The Lower Owens is slow right now
Bridgeport Reservoir: Bridgeport is OK for Fly Fishing, but if the weather warms the fishing could be even better
East Walker River: Fishing on the East Walker is on the improve
