When it rains hard the West Walker won't get as muddy and the fishing is better

The West has been enjoying some success in between thunderstorms. Sometimes when it rains hard upstream it will muddy up the water on the river for a half day or so. The best thing to do is fish the West in between when it's not too dirty. Panther Martins and Mepps spinners are good, as well as eggs, power eggs and crawlers. For fly angling try humpies, stimulators, hoppers, prince nymphs and pheasant tails.
