Current River Conditions: The fishing has been good. A mixture of 1/2 pounders, a few adults and sometimes a King or two. The fishing has been productive.
The Fly Shop's ? Tips: Anglers fishing shrimp pink egg patterns like Micro Spawns have been into steelhead. #12 Poxyback Hares Ear Nymphs and #14 Prince Nymphs are a couple of the smaller flies that have produced recently. Don't forget the #6 Pat's Brown Rubber Legs! We recommend fishing from a boat in order to access the best water. Best flies are going to be various egg patterns including clown-eggs and micro spawns in yellow and pink for single-hand fly rod fishing. Swinging SALT Stones, Euphoric Muddlers and articulated leeches on a spey or switch rod is the quintessential approach in October.
