Work the backs of coves using top-water lures and plugs. Areas with submerged debris or rocky points are prime habitat. Boaters need to be aware of their surroundings and maintain a close eye on the water conditions. Annual water fluctuations are set to take place and will temporarily drop the water level from 640 feet to about 633 by mid-November. Boaters need to be aware of changing water conditions and may experience temporary closures of the following launch ramps: Willow Beach, Cottonwood Cove, Katherine Landing, Princess Cove, Arizona Telephone Cove, and Nevada Telephone Cove.
