Anglers fishing out at Willow Beach have had success bringing in double-digit stripers, many just right off the fishing pier above the marina. Catfish have been active as well and are taking anchovies in the backs of coves. Reports of fish in the four- to six-pound range are common. Striped bass are a little harder to come by in the main body of the lake, but moderate success has come to those fishing early with reaction baits.
