Intermediate Fly Tying Workshop


The Nevada Department of Wildlife is sponsoring an introduction to fly fishing clinic. This clinic is designed for entry level fly tyers and is free to all participants.

What - This class is for those with some knowledge of tying flies, or have already participated in a beginners level class.

When - Wednesday, October 22, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Beginners / Family Fishing Clinic
What - Learn how to tie knots, identify local fish, what to use, how to cast a fishing rod. Participants 12 and over will need a valid fishing license.

Introduction to Fly Fishing
What - This is a beginners level course on Fly Fishing, students will learn terminology, knot tying, basic equipment and casting skills.
