Surface temperature is 60 degrees. Fishing for trout is best inside of Graveyard cove in Scow Canyon. Fish with Power Bait or nightcrawlers off the bottom. People trolling have been catching larger sized trout by the dam. Troll with Rapalas without any weight added. Fishing for catfish is best by the boat launch. Many catfish are being caught by trout fishermen. To increase chance of catching a catfish use stinky bait like chicken livers or anchovies. The bite is still on for the bass fishermen. Top spots are the Rock wall, Sather Canyon and near the Main Rec Pier. Throw shad colored spinner baits or drop-shot RoboWorms. Big fish of the week was landed by Ed Aho of Fremont, who caught a 9.52 pounder using Mice Tails at Main Rec
