Dennis Dunn, Mark, Rocket and Scott at the Wild Horse Resort (775) 758-6472: Fishing has been super good for trout, perch and channel catfish. Gold lures with perch-colored spots are good, nightcrawlers are hot (jig it a little as you retrieve). We will have a pork rib barbecue on July 4th.

Dorsey Reservoir Fish Report 06-13-07

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Fishing is still good here as the 2,000 fish that were stocked in April are still hitting worms, spinners, rooster tails and nymph patterns. Best time is early morning (it slows down by 10:00) and late afternoon.

Ruby Lake Fish Report 06-13-07

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Not a lot of change here. Fishing is in limbo as the water temperature is such that the trout fishing is slowing down and the bass fishing hasn't quite picked up yet. However, if these 70 to 80 degree days continue, which they are forecasting for the next week or so, then bass fishing may start to pick up by Memorial Day weekend. The ditch

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Fishing has been good for trout especially in the Hendricks Arm using large(4"-6") minnow imitators. The best type of pattern appears to be a perch pattern and fish in the 10 to 17 inch range were mighty hungry. Even some 8 to 10 inch perch were hitting the 4" rapalas. Perch fishing is spotty, though once you find them fishing for them is fair to good

Wilson Reservoir Fish Report 06-13-07

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
The water level has leveled off and there is still some water going over the spillway, but not much. Trout fishing has good at the inlet, spillway and around the dock using the usual trout gear: spinners, minnow imitators and garden hackle. Bass fishing has been good with a few larger fish showing up.

Angel Lake Fish Report 06-13-07

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
The road to Angel Lake is now open, though the lake is about 85-90 percent covered with ice. Some of the shorelines are opening up and the fish are always hungry after the long winter here. Bring small spinners, PowerBait, worms and small streamer and nymph fly patterns.

South Fork Reservoir Fish Report 06-13-07

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Fishing has been fair to good here also with wipers being caught by boaters trolling rooster tails in the area by the buoys at the south end of the lake. The best color appears to be brown. Trout fishing has been fair for shore anglers and fair to good for boaters with most fish being caught when trolling minnow imitators. Flyrodders should break out the

Wildhorse Reservoir Report 03-15-2007

by DON QUILICI
Mark at the Wild Horse Resort (775) 758-6472: Weather has been marvelous. We've still got ice on the reservoir but the ice fishing is just about over. There is open water showing around the hot springs areas and the ice is very thin around the edges of the shoreline. At this rate, it won't be too long before they are trolling in boats.
