Pyramid Lake is fishing really good

by PYRAMID LAKE FLY FISHING
Pyramid Lake is fishing really good. There are a lot of fish being caught and also some really big ones. November-February are historically the best big fish months. This season is telling the same story.  The water conditions are fantastic, and the lake levels are great. This time of year, it is less important to get an early start and a lot more important to

Riviera Marina Fishing Report

by RUSTY
I want to say a very happy holiday season and a very Merry Christmas. Our local angler Gerry Ward was able to show off his limit of rainbow trout he landed at Rotary Park area. Gerry was fishing from shore using his favorite trout jig. I am a fan of spinners my self but these small jigs are a lot of fun. Both night crawlers

Fishing should be picking up as the water levels return to normal levels

by ARIZONA GAME & FISH DEPARTMENT
Lake Mohave fishing should be picking up as the water levels return to normal levels after a scheduled drawn-down. This usually has a positive effect on the striper bite.

We hit -6 last night

by SOUTH FORK STATE REC. AREA
BRRRRR.....Let's face it, it's down-right cold. We hit -6 last night, and saw ice skins form over about 50% of the reservoir. There is some pretty solid ice around the boat ramp, and the extended forecast calls for continued lows in the single-digits to low teens. We expect to be closing the ramp for the season in the coming days, as it appears the ice is

The lake continues to fish good overall

by TROUT CREEK OUTFITTERS
The Lake continues to fish good overall, but the consistent high-pressure system this last week has made the bite less consistent than the stormy days a few weeks back. We’ve been hearing good reports using both sinking lines with buggers, beetles and boobies, as well as fishing the indo using a dual leech set-up fished at 8-12 feet.  The best policy with bright sunny days

Wilson Reservoir Fishing Report

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
No recent reports, but with the recent snows, expect 4WD conditions to get here. Water conditions here are generally similar to South Fork so there should be some open water for fishing. However, that may not be the case and even if it is, it won’t be long before it does freeze over. At last report fishing was good here and the water was clearing
