Lake Bosworth - WA

Lake Bosworth, located near Granite Falls, is a peaceful, 105-acre lake known for reliable trout fishing and light boating pressure. Open year-round, it shines in spring and fall when WDFW stocks it with thousands of rainbow trout, including some jumbo broodstock.

Shore anglers do well using PowerBait or worms from the public launch area, while boaters have success trolling small spoons and wedding rings tipped with bait. The spring opener provides fast action, and trout remain active through early summer. A second stocking in fall renews the bite for cool-weather anglers.

During summer, warmwater species like largemouth bass and yellow perch become more active. Bass hold near docks and structure and hit soft plastics and spinnerbaits. Perch provide steady action for light tackle anglers using worms or small jigs.

The public access site includes a launch for small boats. Only electric motors are allowed, making Bosworth ideal for kayaks, float tubes, and quiet trolling. The shoreline is mostly private, so bank access is limited.
