Fish Lake, located near Loa, UT, is a 2,500-acre mountain lake famed for its massive lake trout, rainbow trout, splake, and yellow perch.

Lake trout here regularly exceed 20 pounds. Troll deep-running lures or jig heavy tubes in 40–100 feet of water. Summer and fall offer peak action. Rainbows run 12–18 inches and bite well on bait, spinners, and small trolled rigs.

Splake are aggressive hybrids caught near rocky shorelines with crankbaits or streamers. Yellow perch are abundant and caught easily on worms or jigs, making them a favorite for ice fishing.

Fish Lake is open year-round with excellent facilities, including campgrounds, marinas, boat rentals, and nearby lodges. Shore fishing is accessible, but boats help target deeper fish.
