Fishing Guide James Netzel checked in tonight. James said, "We had to work for em today. Perfect conditions, flat water, just a tough bite. Still ended with 5 to 8 pounds that we kept and released a couple 18 inchers."

Fishing Guide James Netzel checked in this afternoon from Tight Lines Guides Service. James said, "Tough today in the wind. Couldn't keep fish straight up and down with the wind for the picture. Ended up catching 11 keepers with a bunch of smalls trolling both shallow and deep in San Joaquin side of delta. Big tide did not help either."

Fishing Guide James Netzel checked in with an update from Tight Lines Guide Service. Today I postponed clients due to the wind but wanted to reel one in myself. So I took my deckhand Darren out and he stole my big fish!!! Lol. 1 at 7 pounds and a 20 incher. And a couple shakers.

Fishing Guide James Netzel checked in tonight with an update from the Sacramento Delta. The bite not red hot today but cannot complain about quality. Outgo was far better than the incoming tide. All fish caught on deep divers in the San Joaquin side of Delta.

Fishing Guide James Netzel checked in from Tight Lines Guide Services. Today we fished in the Sacramento Delta for Striped Bass. Still slow but better. Managed 9 keepers for 4 clients plus about 25 shorts. Outgo tide way way better than incoming. All fish caught on deep divers today. Water temp 57 degrees still.

The water really took a dive and put fish to sleep today. 64 degree water Thursday, 57 today. Ended with 6 keepers and about a dozen smalls. Caught em both shallow and deep.

Fishing Guide James Netzel checked in this afternoon with an update from the San Joaquin side of the Delta. Today we had great quality Striped Baa. We caught about 35 fish with 15 being keeper size. We ended up with 3 limits of Striped Bass.

Fishing Guide James Netzel checked in this evening with an update from the San Joaquin side of the Delta. We had to work a bit harder today for our 8 keepers. We had about 25 shakers today. We caught them all trolling YoZuris!

First time this year I hit the delta to do some striper recon with my deckhand Darren Butler and my dad Ed Netzel. Found some decent schools as soon as we started in the San Joaquin side since the water was cleaner than the sac side. Caught 20 plus fish to about 6 pounds trolling YoZuris and slow trolling live jumbo minnows. Didn't need
