2 trips at Stampede Reservoir today. Not as fast and not same location. Not much shallow today. Played around with colors today and Paulina Peak Tackle clown and pink lemonade hoochies were top producers. 2nd trip had to go deep to get under next years fish.

Quick trip this morning at Stampede for a retired naturalist and college professor. In other words, very smart people. Lol. Had a great time catching fish and watching the awesome air show. Paulina Peak Tackle anything with pink. Clown. Cotton candy, pink lemonade, watermelon. Combinations of colors working better than straight colors. Depth is constantly changing. Trying to say 5’-25’ off the bottom wherever I’m fishing.

Little slowdown today at Stampede. Took till 10:30 to catch 7 limits. Released about a dozen 12”ers. COLOR CHANGE COLOR CHANGE Hot color today was Paulina Peak Tackle cotton candy UV hoochies and Tahoe spinners. Everything else the same. Taking a few days off, be back next week.

2 trips today at Stampede. Morning trip was faster action than yesterday. Caught em from 35’-50’ otw. Multiple doubles and triples. With the big moon the bite typically slows a little and it has. About 10-15 kokanee an hour catch rate. Lol. Still great fishing with big chunky Kokanee. Still caught some in the shallows but did best in deeper open water. Paulina Peak Tackle watermelon UV hoochie still working but also caught em on pink lemonade and a watermelon spinner. Speed still same at 1.1.

After a couple days off, fish still in same place at stampede and the bite has not slowed at all. Same depth, speed, tackle, colors. Same everything except it was not bone chilling cold this morning. Don’t have any morning dates available next 2-3 weeks, only late morning trips starting 9 or 10am. Still catching east limits late morning. Have a few seats available for morning

Think I need a bigger front deck to hold all these Kokanee. Was a great bite today at Stampede. 35 kokanee by 8:30am!! That’s a little over 2 hrs fishing.   Morning started off slow. Went 20 mins without a bite. Then a triple hookup and 3 fish in the net together made a mess. Lol. Then it was difficult to keep 2 rods in the downriggers

These fish are growing at an alarming rate. Just a few weeks ago we were ecstatic with 15.5”. Now we’re getting some to 17”!!! Got boat limits early and even sped the boat up to 1.7mpj just to make it tougher to bring em in. Then I said let’s try for trout again. So we put on speedy shiners and needlefish and trolled the top
