Unbelievable fishing at Stampede today. 30 fish an hour!!! Difficult to keep 2 rods fishing at any given time. Had to pull rods out of the water in order to give my weekly fishing report on the radio. Even sped the trolling speed up today to give clients a tougher time reeling in the fish. Quick limits of chunky kokanee at Stampede then we switched to trout but couldn’t keep the Kokanee off! Kept catching Kokanee with trolling flies in 10-15’ of water and worm tipped hooks. With only 3 clients today at Stampede, tried to stretch the trip out but with an average of 2+ limits an hour it makes it difficult. Different bite than yesterday.
