            Though not as good as yesterday, which will be hard to beat, we caught 32 fish with 23 keepers. Both shallow and deep trolling a bit slower than normal. Different day on the delta today. Only 3 keepers on rattletraps. Did much better on deep divers. Found a few haystacks of fish and made the best of it. It’s fun when you say 3-2-1 watch youre rods and 2 go off!!! Ended the day with 12 keepers and 20 shorts. Will be talking live on air tomorrow morning in the wind at 7am on

Pretty darn good bite on the delta. No crazy wide open bite but just a consistent bite with about an hour of dead time. 5-6’ of water with rattletraps trolled slower than normal is what was working for us. Crazy crazy bite this morning!!! At 7:45 we have a live on the water report on California Sportsmen Radio Show and scored a quad!!! 3 of those were gooder keepers. Think we had 10-11 keepers by 8am. Not bad for an hour of fishing!! Then a slowdown but bite picked up only to have 2 ships muddy the water so we headed to the SJ

Shaker city today but still a lot of fun. Bottom of the tide gave us triple keepers. Rattletraps on the SJ. Have Wednesday and Saturday available. Light winds forecasted for tomorrow which will be very nice.

We never caught the hot bite today except we helped another angler get a hook outta their finger. That was on a small hot bite but first aid is way more important. They were afraid but never realized I already got the hook out till the lure hit the floor. Easy simple trick. But you gotta do it when you’re still in shock.   For the fishing

Tough day on the delta. Mega clear water for the delta and not many fish marked. Only good area was way upriver on the San Joaquin Uber a lotta floating debris. Deep divers in 15-16’ of water. Water temp on sac side was 53. Upriver in San Joaquin was 54-55.5.

We only fished for the fall run salmon a handful of times as it was very difficult to get excited with the poor run that was forcasted.  As many of you called, I did my best to talk you out of going and apologize, but just real difficult to run a business when I already knew the results would be unhappy clients. Successful windy day on the delta power drifting mudsuckers. Not red hot today but wind made it tough. Bunch of shakers to keep us busy.
