Tougher day today at Boca. Good bite early morning then we just could not get them to stay hooked.

Took about an hour longer today to catch our 25 Kokanee at Boca. Quite a few other boats today. The key was to stay by yourself. Kinda difficult to do when you catch a fish and 5 boats turn around and go to where you just caught the fish. Kinda funny to watch. Lol. Bite was kinda slow this morning at Boca but soon as the sun hit the water, it was game on!!! Paulina Peak Tackle did it again. Old school pink/purple scale flutterbug, pink and purple UV and cotton Candy hoochies all played their part behind P Lite Dodgers.

Kids got tired before we finished today but they had a blast catching a deckfull of Kokanee at Boca today. Funny how colors are red hot where I got em on all the rods a couple weeks ago, then before the holidays I was using 4 different presentations, then today I’m back to using all the same color again. Full moon made for a tougher bite today at Boca but we stuck it out and got our kokes.

Kokanee at Boca just didn’t wanna come to the net. Lost well more than we boated but luckily the bite was great!! Same gear, same color, same depth. Only difference was speed. They liked 1.3 today. First opening is Sunday if anyone is interested in getting outta the valley heat.

Found some fatties today at Boca. Early morning bite was kind of slow with the end of a front passing through but once the sun broke out, it was lights out fishing. 3 limits in 2 hrs and the guys were ready to drive back home. Best water depth was 30-40’ but 15-20’ otw. Still caught a few in 20’ of water depth too. Paulina

5 limits by 9:30 is pretty darn good fishing at Boca right now. Have a couple spots open tomorrow if interested. Same colors, same depths, same speed.
