Fishing for trout and bass have been really well over the past week throughout the lake on various baits. Nightcrawlers have been working very well drop shot style or using some power bait with a longer leader to come across trout down in the coves.

The bass have also been biting various soft plastic creature baits and worms along with paddle tail presentations and jerk baits along the banks.

Stripers have been making their way towards the surface more in the earlier hours of the day, biting kastmasters on the troll and jerk baits as well along with cut bait down deep up to 60 feet using fresh sardines or cut mackerel.

Catfish are still biting fairly consistently on cut baits as well using a heavy sinker to be able to manage the winds and water currents during the day.
