Wind, wind, and more wind. That seems to be the prognosis this first week of summer. Afternoons have been down right gnarly windy up here. If the forecast calls for wind start early and find some spots on the river with some cover. Not much has changed flow wise, or bug wise. They still have the gates open on Tahoe, and Boca. Fish have adjusted and are settled in. The mid sections of river are still the best bet if you don't like fishing and wading in the high stuff. The epic caddis hatches in the evening are on. Water temps are prefect due to releases from Boca and spring like weather. I've put the waders back on in the mornings, and have been hanging a G-6 off the back of a Skipper Stone.
