The lake is 60% full and the water temperature is 53 degrees. The lake was planted last week with 1,200 pounds at the North Shore ramp, 600 pounds at the South Shore ramp and 600 pounds in the South Shore Pond. In addition, this week the beaver and catfish ponds near the south shore will be planted with bluegill, channel catfish and fingerling largermouth bass. Trout fishing has been good. Big fish of the week was a seven pound trout Wednesday caught near the South Shore Day Use Point. Trolling has been productive. Trout are near the surface. Bank anglers congregate at the South Shore Ramp. Trout Pond has been productive, too.  (209) 763-5915, (209) 763-5166
