Guide Hans Moxley checked in this afternoon with an update from Lake Tahoe. The bite was back to being a little finicky today but we were able to get these fine fish into the net.

Been about 4 years since I've been able to fish the Jakes derby. Got lucky today with 11, 12.5 and 13 3/4 macks. Won $1000 grand prize. Fun day! Pautzke Krill, Sufix 832 and Rapala Mag X raps gettin it done!

Lake tahoe continues to kick out mixed bags of Browns , Rainbows and Mackinaw. The browns have been a little up and down as of late as has the weather but throw in a few Rainbows that are coming off the spawn and red hot Mackinaw action and there is plenty of fun to be had. Guide Mike Neilsen checked in from Tahoe Topliners out of South Lake Tahoe, CA. Today we harvested some Browns as we normally practice catch and release with them. Great looking meat, good fun and got in before the big part of storm hit us! Nothing huge today but nice action overall, good job team Norton!

Guide Mike Nielsen checked in from South Lake Tahoe, CA. We fished Lake Tahoe today and the Brown Trout did not cooperate but we did manage to catch limits of Lake Trout and 4 Rainbows for our group of 3 passengers.

Hello Everyone! The derby was really good this week. We had a few tagged fish brought in and we have had over 727 fish over 2bls since the 1st of January. Our biggest fish was a 6.23 lbs 22.5in brought in from shore with a night crawler by Tricia Kermodle of Minden NV. Our second prize winner was a Amy Silsy with a 3.72bls 19in. The

Lots of guys have been making the runs for Browns so to get the action we have been switching out our presentations. Rapala Mag X raps , Magnums in both steel bill deep diver and floaters with an odd Jensen Flash Fly trailed behind large J plugs or magnum floaters. The lead lure gives the fly the action. Guide Hans Moxley checked in from Lake Tahoe Today. We were on the fish today and it was a drop dead gorgeous day on the Big Blue Lake!

How bout trout guy playing with some bass? The Bass are sitting just at the top of the weed beds and casting the Rapala shadow Rap with slow steady retrieve and a little stop n twitch gets them to grab on. Cold water has them lethargic but warmer temps are assisting all the fish!

Guide Hans Moxely checked in with an update on the Lake Tahoe Lake Trout Bite. Today we had very good fishing that produced LIMITS (6) Lake Trout for our group of three anglers.

Captain Hans Moxely checked in today from Lake Tahoe. It was very COLD this morning but the fishing was HOT! We caught 4 nice Lake Trout today.

Guide Hans Moxley checked on on Saturday, March 26th. We search for bows and browns in the shallows with no success. However, we did score some nice Lake Trout out in the deep waters.
