The Sceirine is still fishing excellent, lots of good dry/dropper action as well as nymphing. Dead drift crayfish have still been producing very well, also caddis nymphs, midges and san juan worms. Lots of nice fish in the 14 to 18 inch range with several each day over 20" being reported. The ranch fished excellent this week, Scott reported his clients getting into 30+ fish a day down there. Dry/dropper rigs and dead drift crayfish were the main ticket on the ranch this week!

The ranch is still hanging in there as well, there hasn't been too much traffic down there lately though. Dry/dropper rigs have been doing the best lately. Hoppers, madam-x or stimulators on top and a prince or pheasant tail or dark lord on the bottom.

The ranch is still fishing very good, dry/dropper rigs have probably been the most productive. The flows have dropped a little bit the last couple days so that should make the dry action even better. Most of the same flies that are working on the Cali side will also work on the ranch.

The ranch is fishing very well also, most of the same patterns that are fishing well on the Cali side of the river will also be successful on the ranch. We also had some good reports on stonefly patterns like a rubber leg stone or a micro stone.

We had a few clients on the ranch this week that had a great time, as on the Cali side of the river the nymphing was the best with the same types of patterns as listed in the East Walker report. Lots of nice fish in the 16 to 20 inch range were being caught as well.

The Ranch fished well this week, the 160 flow means good fishing on the Nevada side

The ranch produced pretty well this week also, the 160 flow makes for some good fishing on the Nevada side. In addition to the patterns listed for the Cali side you can also try copper johns, dark lords, prince nymphs, pheasant tails and birds nests.

There has been good streamer action at Sceirine Ranch

The ranch has also been fishing pretty well. Not too much dry action but there has been some good streamer action. Patterns to fish on the ranch include san juan worm, Fox's poopah, swimming caddis, dark lord, pheasant tail, zuddler, moal leech, dead drift crawfish, mercury midge, top secret midge, birds nest.

Most days have been pretty good on Sceirine ranch with just a couple exceptions this week.

There's still a few stoneflies coming off on the ranch as well. The same patterns are working well on the ranch as on the Cali side of the EW plus you can try some streamers like zuddlers or moal leeches, also a dead drift crayfish is a good bet down there.

This of course in part because there's not too much pressure on this section. Our clients who fished the ranch did the best with zebra midges, copper johns, san juan worms and dry dropper rigs with chubby chernobyl or rubber leg stone on top and a midge or stonefly nymph underneath. The Sceirine is fishing very well lately too, much of the same patterns that work in Cali and on the Rosachi will also work here. We also had a couple good reports on streamers like JJ special, zuddlers and double bunnies down here this week.

We've had a few clients on the ranch this week and they've done pretty well. It's looking like right now the only patterns you'll want to add to your arsenal that are different from the ones listed for the Cali side would be a poxyback stone and micro stone.

Carson River fishing has picked up with more consistent flows

Current flow is 185+ cfs. Fishing has picked up with the consistent flows. The Gardnerville area near the broken dam has been producing good numbers of fish. The Carson City area received recent stocking. Lure fisherman should try Kastmasters and Blue fox lures. Salmon eggs drifted works well this time of year. Fly anglers try prince nymphs, gold ribbed hares ear

Good walleye fishing at Lahontan Reservoir

No recent reports, but anglers have reported good walleye fishing this year. Best methods have been jigs and plastic worms fished shallow in the morning and evening. Move deeper as the sun rises. Lures that mimic crawfish are a good method as well. Follow shore points and rocky or grave structure. This type of habitat will hold fish waiting

Fishing has picked up. Fly anglers have been using midge patterns and copper johns. Although bass fishing has been slow, things should pick up soon.
