Lyon County Fish Reports

The East Walker is prime and flowing at 100 cfs. There’s just enough water to keep fish from being spooky this time of year. Recent surveys showed record populations above and below the Elbow access. The ranch is also still fishing very well with lots of nice fish being caught down there, the same patterns that are working on the Cali side will also be working on the Nevada side. We’ve been booking out a ways in advance for the ranch so if you want to get out there try to give us a call ahead of time.

The ranch is also fishing well with similar reports to the California reports coming in. Lots of good nymphing and streamer fishing and lots of good quality fish being caught. With the lower flows on the river the ranch is starting to book up so if you want to get on the private water try to give us a call ahead of time.

We had some good reports from the ranch this week, there are getting into some good fish with both nymphs and streamers down there. There has been a lot of changes on the ranch as far as the river channel goes, some of the banks are washed out and the river has taken some new directions this year due to the higher than normal flows.
