Fly fishing should be pretty slow on the opener due to warm air and water conditions. look for reports to change as the weather cools and the fish come into shallow water. Truckee River Fishing Report

Flows remain excellent from Lake Tahoe through Reno. The river is fishing excellent right now. Air and water temperatures have really been cooperating lately and the fishing has as well. East Carson River Fishing Report

Flows are 31 CFS. It has only dropped 1 CFS in the past week. This bodes well for the fly fishing. Fish should be settled in to the deeper runs and pools now and eating whenever they get the chance.
