by MATT KOLES
Another long dry spell for the Sierra's, and the Truckee River, ugh. Super mild afternoons, and very cold at night. Very stagnant weather pattern.  With the cold overnight lows, best to start a bit later in the morning. On the Nevada side, don't really matter to much as it's not nearly as cold at night near Reno.  You're gonna have some pretty low water temps on the

Topaz Lake Fishing Report

by DOUG BUSEY
The lake has come up about 4 ft since my last trip down there. The boat ramp is open and clear. The center dock is the only one available right now. Ice has now formed over the majority of the reservoir

by WILD HORSE STATE RECREATION AREA
Ice has now formed over the majority of the reservoir. Since the ice is still newly formed, we are unsure of thickness and do not recommend being out on it. We are seeing people beginning to ice fish and it is much too early. We will be having warmer temps for the next week or so and we will see how the ice holds up.
