The LCT are schooling well and we are seeing the amount of double ups increase. The larger fish are still rolling in from noon to about 4 with a couple of grabs at sunrise and sunset. On the overcast days the

Angler Activity is Beginning to Pick Up

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Angler activity is beginning to pick up. Trout in the 15-inch range are taking night crawlers and tube jigs below a bobber. One angler reeled in a 4-pound trout caught on a spinner at Adams-McGill Reservoir. Be prepared for weather changes.

Reservoir is Ice Free

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
The reservoir is ice free. Night crawlers and PowerBait fished below a bobber or off the bottom with a small weight are effective trout presentations. Chartreuse, marabou jigs are a good option for crappies. There are no reports of bass being caught. A few scattered showers mixed with snow are expected over the next week.

Anglers Are Finding Good Rainbow Trout Action

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Daytime temperatures are in the 50s. The water is ice free, and anglers are finding good fishing for rainbow trout. Night crawlers fished off the bottom or below a bobber are working best. Only a few anglers have been seen on the water. The area is looking at rain and snow intermittently over the next week.

Shore Anglers Are Finding Good Action For Rainbow Trout

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Shore anglers are finding good action for rainbow trout following a recent fish plant. Spinnerbaits with flashes of gold, blue, or red are working well. Night crawlers and PowerBait are reliable backups. The striped bass bite is slow all along the river. Anglers are trying a variety of spinners, swimbaits, and live bait to attract the fish. Black bass activity has picked up around Laughlin Lagoon

Increase in Smallmouth Bass Action

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Few reports have come in from Willow Beach, but a few persistent anglers are catching stripers over 20 pounds on AC Plugs. Lake Mohave anglers are seeing an increase in smallmouth bass action as the fish prepare to spawn. Jigs and craws on drop shots are producing fish up to 4 pounds. Anglers also are reporting hits on jerkbaits and Glide Baits.

Early Mornings & Late Afternoons Have Been The Most Productive

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Early mornings and late afternoons are reported to be the most productive times for striped bass. The fish are taking anchovies and golden shiners from shore anglers throughout Boulder Basin and north into the Overton Arm. A few boaters have had success experimenting with jerkbaits and crankbaits in shad patterns. Black bass are engaging in pre-spawn activity and can be tempted by finessing soft plastics
