Cold Creek Reservoir is still sitting at ~50% of full, with water temperatures sitting at 720F.  Fishing off the dam, west and northern shorelines should produce trout and Largemouth Bass.  Small watercraft will produce good catch rates on both trout species present on the lake.  Several 12-to-14-inch Rainbow Trout have been caught recently on spinners. Tiger Trout are being caught a dry flies. PowerBait, night crawlers, and a variety of dry and wet flies should produce trout.  Anglers can expect to see Largemouth in the 6-to-8 inch range, with the occasional larger fish as the fishery recovers from draw down.  Warm water temperatures are hard on trout, please consider fishing early in the morning and late in the evenings when surface temperatures are down to prevent angling related fish mortalities.
