Did some ice fishing this morning, ice on the deck, ice on the lines, pretty much ice on everything. but for these two guys braving the bitter cold.... NICE fish

We had a little bit of everything out on the water this morning, rolling waves, wind, snow, rain, and some Great fishing !!!!!

Nice fishing day on Tahoe with 4 big Macs to end it.

Spooner Lake remains open to fishing during the winter months but is typically covered in ice by mid-december.  Ice fishing is not permitted at the lake.

Hello fellow anglers, It is snowing every where. Which means that many roads in Alpine county have finally closed for the season.  With our recent storms brings ice on some of our surrounding lakes and ponds. I strongly recommend to stay off of the ice, even though our temperatures have plummeted, the ice is very thin and is very dangerous this time of year. The

Just getting started on what could be final run of 2018. 16 degrees this morning and couple weeks of weather in forecast I’ll pull boat and take week break and see where weather is at December!

Few macs for dinner today! Absolutely perfect day out. So calm! Rocco did a fantastic job fighting his fish that ended up being 10.3 lbs on the scale.

Few keepers for yesterday.  As boat warms up this morning the clarity of the sky and brightness of stars is ridiculous. Can see satellite, shooting stars, all the clusters. Early morning benefits!

Yesterday’s keepers. While chilly at start it was t shirts by 10! Getting ready for another run today!

Waky waky. Time for fish heads! 18 degrees but calm is very comfortable until you get wet hands!

9 out of 10 in an hour and 20 min. Time for browns and rainbows!

Great morning run.  Got rainbows, browns, and kept 7 Lakers for dinner.  Bite is excellent right now!

Some quick Macks yesterday and then, couple brown and bows we released!

More fall colors today with some being Rainbow, Brown, and Laker grey to gold! Mixed in awesome sunrise! We couldn’t ask for stronger bite today and yes we let go a good number too for the catch and release guys.

Kyle Blanchard of Virginia City and Harrison Collins were out at Topaz Lake fishing in the canal on October 26th. Harrison landed on this brown and Kyle caught the bass on a spinner. Kyle says that there are a ton of bass out there right now and some Rainbows and Browns. It appears that the Smallmouth Bass are taking over.

Fishing is open all year in Nevada. The NDOW planted the broken dam above Gardnerville a couple weeks ago.
