South Shore Lake Tahoe Fish Report 11-15-07

Gene St. Denis: I've been fishing 50-200 feet deep at Ski Run Shelf and Camp Richardson. Trolling with silver Herring Dodger flasher blades and minnows. Bouncing off the bottom in a serpentine pattern. Macks are small, 2-7 pounds.

Shore anglers have been reporting some action where they can find open water around the aquatic vegetation that chokes the shoreline. Try using white spoons or black and yellow Panther Martins. A nice blue sky today (Monday) and the water is still the same as it has been for the last two months. We are staying open through the winter due to the year-round season

The bite is a little slow with the Macks going to spawn. Try to find the schools and do some jigging for them. Also try the shore lines for rainbows and BROWNS. Use topline minnow looking lures.
