Sceirine Ranch Fish Report

The ranch has been fishing excellent with some fish in the 23 to 25 inch range being reported, a few of the best flies down there are dark lords, natural and pink san juan worms, dead drift crayfish and moal leeches.

The ranch is still fishing very well on streamers and nymphs, like the Cali side nothing much on dries. Most of the same patterns that are listed above are doing well with dead drift crayfish and san juan worms working especially well. The traffic is pretty light on the ranch compared to the California side so the fish tend to be a little more grabby down

The ranch has been kicking out some very nice fish this week as well, most of the anglers we’ve had down there have done very well, lots of nice browns and some pretty good rainbows as well. Give is a call if you want to fish the ranch in the weeks to come!

The ranch has been fishing well this week also, lots of nice fish in the 14 to 18 inch range being caught, at least one angler reported a 30 fish day this week!! The nymphs and streamers listed above have been doing the trick on the ranch too!

The ranch fished very well over the weekend, lots of nice fish caught mainly on caddis nymph patterns like buckskin caddis, lafontaines sparkle pupa, fox’s poopah. There was also some good action on san juan worms, rainbow warriors, prince nymphs and pheasant tails.

The ranch fished ok this week, seemed like mainly smaller fish down there, most in the 12 to 16 inch range, dry/dropper rigs worked pretty well for one angler while most were fishing nymphs and getting into some fish.

Stocked a couple of weeks ago. Still pretty heavy, in about 10 days should be much easier to fish. Fun little water, use your stealth not a lot of water in it. They'll happily take a dry, madam X EHC, a small hopper, Royal Wulff.
