The flows jumped to almost 9oo cfs on Tuesday due to rain and snow. they are starting to come down but it could be a few days to a week before the Truckee is fishable again. The flows have been dropped to 49cfs. The fish are starting to get a little spooky but the fishing has been great for the better fishermen. Flows are down to 70 cfs. Not bad for mid August. It has been fishing well. Nymphing with golden stones or crayfish patterns and a smaller dropper like a caddis or midge pupa.
