The bass bite is generally good this time of year

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Afternoon winds can make things dicey on these high-desert reservoirs. Seasonal aquatic vegetation growth can make it difficult to retrieve baits, especially from the shoreline. Don’t hesitate to add a mini marshmallow to a night crawler to keep it above the weeds. Barbless hooks can help. The bass bite is generally good this time of year.

Fishing has been good recently

by NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Fishing has been good recently with some of the best action taking place in the morning hours. Olive Woolly Buggers fished along the shoreline can fool trout or bass looking for small crayfish. Lures and jigs also have been taking bass along with a few crappies. Stocked trout and small spinners also will catch trout.

Further south the line sides have been taking anchovies and swimbaits. Crankbaits have been fooling black bass near submerged vegetation.
