Great news for our trout anglers and that is the rainbow trout stocking is back. That is the trout being brought in by the Willow Beach Hatchery. The Willow Beach crew was out early yesterday morning and today getting Rainbow Trout ready for their journey to the Colorado River!   Around 2,000 fish were stocked at Rotary and Community Parks yesterday. Some news from up on Lake Mohave our local angler Daniel Wadsworth was trolling and landed a nice Smallmouth Bass. This fish weighed in at 4.16 pounds and was 20 Inches in length. this is really good news for the up-and-coming bass tournament that will be going on at Lake Mohave. Kingston Creek is flowing well below normal and fishing is difficult except in the pools and on springheads. Small dry flies are the way to go here. As of September 30, Kingston Creek was flowing at 2.23 cfs which is about a third of normal.

            This past week Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery staff stocked 1,324 rainbow trout into the Colorado River. That means 410 pounds of fish are ready to be fished!     #happyfishing #recreationalfishing #USFWS #hatchthefun

FRIDAY FISHING REPORT Sept 30, 2022 Willow Beach / Lake Mohave / Colorado River Laughlin Nevada / Bullhead City Area. Striped Bass, Trout, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and Catfish.

Our local angler Bryon Kilgore was fishing from shore here along the Colorado River below the Davis Dam and landed a couple of stripers. He was using a rooster tail and fishing from the end of Park Street. These striped bass are on the larger side of what most anglers have been landing. Mostly the stripers have been in the 1-to-3-pound range even up on

It’s striper action and Community Park has been giving anglers some great success on landing fish. Our local angler Ray Macmillan landed a 7.52 striper at 29 and 1/4 inches. He was fishing from shore using one of his favorite swim baits. I have been getting reports that anchovies have been producing a few in the 1-to-3-pound range.  These fish are being caught in various

This is some interesting news for our local anglers. We are getting rainbow trout brought in from a hatchery in Colorado. These stocking were first started by our last pest abatement manager. This is a great catch our local angler Mark Kuchczynski landed this nice striper while fishing off of his jet ski. This striper weighed in at 28.3 pounds and was 43 inches.
