We are getting a great mix of rainbow trout from the Willow Beach Hatchery. Our local angler Gerry Ward is back with his limit of trout. We have some lake news the striper bite has been picking up. Megan Willson was on their boat and while trolling in the telephone cove area just out side of Kathern Landing  was able to land a nice size striper. She was using a deep diver crank bait in a shad pattern to land this fish it weighed in at 11.28 pounds and was 31

Kingston Creek is flowing well below normal and fishing is difficult. Expect snow and ice along shorelines. As of December 2, Kingston Creek was flowing at 1.86 cfs which is about a fourth of normal. There will be no more fishing reports until next spring

Our local angler Kenny West landed a 7.66 pound Catfish at 26 and 3/4 inches. This Channel cat was caught up on Lake  Mohave. Kenny was fishing from shore using anchovies to land his fish. I have been hearing a few stripers and some Smallmouth bass are also being picked up on Lake Mohave. With a few of the glide baits for your stripers and

Lake Mohave fishing should be picking up as the water levels return to normal levels after a scheduled drawn-down. This usually has a positive effect on the striper bite.

The great news we are getting a great striper bite both up on Lake Mohave and along our shores of the Colorado River here below the Davis Dam. Kingston Creek is flowing well below normal and fishing is difficult except in the pools and on springheads though the pools will soon have some ice on them. As of November 4, Kingston Creek was flowing at 2.1 cfs which is about a third of normal.
