Happy Saturday from Willow Beach! This week we stocked around 2,000 rainbow trout at Rotary Park in Bullhead City. We also stocked 1,200 trout at Willow Beach.  Happy Fishing! 

We have some lake news that is Lake Mohave above the Davis Dam. Our local angler Mark Osgood or known as corn man due to the fact of him working a lot of our local events selling corn. Mark was fishing from his boat and trolling in the telephone cove are and landed a couple of nice stripers. He was using a tommy trout lure

This is a great catch from Rotary Park area. Our local angler Jaysn Ochs landed this striper while fishing from shore using a swim bait. Jaysn had just picked up his limit of trout and started throwing his favorite lure. This beast of a fish weighing in at 27.96 a nice 28-pound surprise and was 41 inches in length. A little heavy for this length

It’s been a bit slow so I had to go out and catch a couple of fish. I got a Largemouth Bass in one hand and a Redear in the other. These are best found in our back waters like the Laughlin Bay area. I like using a z-mans ned rig in the peanut butter and jelly color (pp&j). The striper bite is doing ok in the Community Park area and we just got a stocking at Rotary Park of Rainbow Trout.With anglers doing well using power bait and night crawlers. I did get a report

This time of year brings out some of our larger fish, which is what Mike Jones found out. He landed this nice size striper while fishing from shore in the Rotary Park area. He was using an ac plug to land this beast. I have heard that the Community Park area is also a great spot with a few of these stripers being brought in. Also

 There have been reports of a few stripers and some smallmouth bass also being caught there as well. Anglers have been reporting success with glide baits for stripers and various plastics for smallmouth bass.

Some great lake news from up on Lake Mohave. the shad are schooling and the stripers are feeding on them. Our local angler Raul Gonzalez landed this 33 and 1/4 inch striper that weighed in at 12.42 pounds. He was fishing from shore near the dam and throwing his favorite swim bait to land this nice size trophy fish. I also have been hearing that

On Tuesday we stocked around 1,500 Rainbow Trout at Community Park in Bullhead City, AZ.   And this morning we stocked 410 of the trophy-sized trout (average 15 inches/ 1.5 pounds each) at Willow Beach Marina. We are getting a great mix of rainbow trout from the Willow Beach Hatchery. Our local angler Gerry Ward is back with his limit of trout. Megan Willson was on their boat and while trolling in the telephone cove area just out side of Kathern Landing  was able to land a nice size striper. She was using a deep diver crank bait in a shad pattern to land this fish it weighed in at 11.28 pounds and was 31

Kingston Creek is flowing well below normal and fishing is difficult. Expect snow and ice along shorelines. As of December 2, Kingston Creek was flowing at 1.86 cfs which is about a fourth of normal. There will be no more fishing reports until next spring

Our local angler Kenny West landed a 7.66 pound Catfish at 26 and 3/4 inches. This Channel cat was caught up on Lake  Mohave. Kenny was fishing from shore using anchovies to land his fish. I have been hearing a few stripers and some Smallmouth bass are also being picked up on Lake Mohave. With a few of the glide baits for your stripers and

Lake Mohave fishing should be picking up as the water levels return to normal levels after a scheduled drawn-down. This usually has a positive effect on the striper bite.

The great news we are getting a great striper bite both up on Lake Mohave and along our shores of the Colorado River here below the Davis Dam.
