Fishing has Been Very Good!

by AARON MEIER
Fishing has been very good despite the seasonal growth of aquatic vegetation that tends to line the shorelines and makes fishing difficult at times. Boaters should be prepared to clean their propellers periodically. Trout, bass and crappie have been taking a variety of baits and lures, but the best action has been early morning and after sunset.

Bluegill are lurking near the pier as well. Bass are still hitting soft plastics outside of

Water Levels Remain Good!

by AARON MEIER
Windy conditions slowed the action down this past week. Water levels remain good, but sunny days are stimulating the seasonal growth of aquatic vegetation that occurs each summer. This can sometimes be a challenge for anglers fishing from the shoreline and along any of the dams.

Try chartreuse green, orange or yellow. Trout also are hitting well on garlic-scented PowerBait and Power Eggs in orange or green. The fish also are taking nightcrawlers with bit of marshmallow
