Rainbow trout action has been steady at Willow Beach. Worms and different combinations of PowerBait are producing catches between 1 and 2 pounds. Anglers are reporting striper boils throughout the morning near Cottonwood Cove. The fish are attacking Zara Spooks and other topwater lures, crankbaits, and swimbaits. Water levels will be low through the winter as in past years.

Bluegill and bass action has been slowing down early in the day but picking up in the afternoons. The final catfish plant of the season took place this week Floyd Lamb, Sunset, Lorenzi, and Veterans’ Memorial parks. Hafen Park in Mesquite also received a load of fish.
