Truckee River  We are currently at 950 Cfs at the downtown Reno gauge. We have passed our annual natural peak flow. This is the peak flow of natural snowmelt and unregulated inflow. Water Temperature: 55 degrees Wiper/ White Bass: Wiper and White Bass have started popping up on sandy beaches near drop offs and ledges. Actively is increasing around 4pm. Try using bright colored or shiny lures. Catfish: Catfish are being reported all around the lake. Anglers are having a lot of luck at the entrance to the narrows on the Fallon side, and near the dam at overlook.

Groves Lake has plenty of shoreline to access fishing and there was a kayaker out on the water. After arriving we meet a 12 year old who got his limit of Rainbow trout pretty quickly. The striper bite is starting near the Davis Dam and so far they have been found in the deeper waters. Anchovies have been working for this area. I have also heard of some catfish action near the fishing dock in the Katherines landing bay.
