Bass Are Getting Ready to Spawn

Smallmouth and largemouth bass are getting ready for the spawn, and anglers are catching the fish in coves near drop-offs. Anglers are using a variety of worms and swimbaits in greens and sliver for black bass. Crappies are hitting crankbaits in the Overton Arm. Casting Rat-L-Traps into murky, shallow areas is proving successful. Catfish are biting on anchovies at night in the Las Vegas Bay

Sceirine Ranch Fishing Report

We only talked to two anglers who fished the ranch this week and they had a blast! They each caught over 20 fish, all on nymphs. Small-ish stonefly patterns as well as small baetis patterns did the trick for them. They also fished a few soft hackles and prince nymphs.
