Local angler Dale Scott recently landed a nice striper at Rotary Park, along with a rainbow trout, while fishing from shore using anchovies. It's not very common, but our local rainbow trout will bite on anchovies now and then. The striper weighed 4.82 pounds and measured 23 ¾ inches. Dam reconstruction is complete and NDOW is impounding water. Please note that shoreline access at Cave Lake is opened to the public, however recreational opportunities are limited.
