The lake has leveled off from going up or down over the last week. Shore anglers are doing fair with Green or yellow powerbait on the California side. Trollers have been doing well with Rapalas or flashers. The Douglas County Park is open for launching, dayuse and camping. The Topaz Landing Marina is open for launching and boat mooring.

As of March 25, the Bruneau River is way up from last week flowing at 131 cfs

In Elko County stream flows are up dramatically over last week due to the shot of precipitation early this week and the warm weather. However most streams are still well below the median for this time of year. Anglers can now access the Bruneau over the Gold Creek Road, though no word on getting to Jarbidge through Nevada. Flows are currently ideal but they can jump pretty quick with any high elevation rain or unexpected heat. Roughly 500cfs in Reno makes for near prefect conditions on the lower river.
